Sustainability: Building a greener future
Belgravia has been the destination for tastemakers for more than 200 years. Today, Grosvenor is building on that heritage by investing to ensure that Belgravia becomes one of London’s most sustainable shopping and dining districts.
Grosvenor has a clear vision for achieving a greener future for Belgravia. This isn’t just a plan – we’re on the ground delivering against ambitious net zero, biodiversity and waste goals. This includes retrofitting the neighbourhood’s historic homes, offices shops and cafes to make them more energy efficient and phasing out fossil fuel use. We’re also investing in greener streets, buildings to improve air quality – we even host a Forest School for local children. And through collaboration with business and residents we’re helping them to reduce their impact and achieve one of London’s highest recycling rates.
Belgravia is home to many independent boutiques and restaurants that are at the forefront of sustainable practices, including ethical fashion brand NRBY, and natural paint specialists Edward Bulmer. All are striving to do their bit for the planet, without compromising on superior quality.
Belgravia’s rich creative history is part of the fabric of London. We’re determined to create a more sustainable future here, today and for years to come.
