The Lanesborough London, is delighted to announce its new Thursday night line-up in The Lanesborough Grill, celebrating live music with our new acclaimed Jazz Nights – featuring the Harry Brunt Trio each Thursday, starting from 7pm to 10pm.

Since moving to London, Harry has rapidly established himself as an important new voice on the UK jazz scene. An experienced performer with an impressive list of appearances. Harry has worked with Jean Carne, Tom Seals, Tony Momrelle, Casandra Jenkins and Tomorrow’s New Quartet. He can also be found co-leading Howl Quartet, leading his own band, teaching, writing, and recording music for TV shows including Hypothetical and ITV’s Grantchester.

Harry draws inspiration from the tenor sax masters, from the foundational figures of John Coltrane and Joe Henderson, to contemporary players like Mark Turner, Chris Speed and Joshua Redman. His approach to the music is characterised by an unswerving focus and determination to explore every aspect of the music, from large-ensemble composition to free-form improv.

This focused, expressive London-based trio combine a fiery, passionate energy with a thoughtful, intelligent wistfulness and the results are utterly compelling. The strength and power of their compositions and performances are at times mouthwatering, a perfect match to the glamorous surroundings of The Lanesborough Grill and Shay Cooper’s modern British menu.

The Lanesborough Grill is located in the richly decorated dining room, of The Lanesborough - naturally illuminated during the day by a domed glass roof while seductively aglow under softly lit chandeliers in the evening. The Lanesborough Grill showcases a seasonal modern British a la carte menu championing regional artisans and the very best of seasonal produce from around the country. Dishes change frequently with key signature dishes
served tableside on Gueridon trolleys, creating a sense of restaurant theatre. In addition, there is also a set menu available at lunch and dinner.

To perfectly accompany the food and Jazz live entertainment, there is an extensive wine list, pre and post dinner drinks in the cosy, firelit Withdrawing Room/Library Bar or a post dinner cigar in the heated outdoor terrace, The Garden Room.
