The grand Regency residence is transformed into an enchanted country house filled with stunning seasonal displays. Whether it be for the ultimate city staycation or a Christmas shopping break to remember, The Lanesborough has something for all ages to enjoy during the holidays, with a variety of festive-filled experiences and exclusive packages to create unforgettable memories. The hotel is once again set to fill Londoners with Christmas cheer with a seasonal display titled “Regency Revelry” created by Leanne Roberts-Hewitt from Wildabout Flowers.
Festive Shop and Stay - in Partnership with Harrods
Located in one of London’s best shopping districts, just a short stroll to Knightsbridge, The Lanesborough makes the perfect base from which to purchase Christmas gifts and soak up the city’s festive spirit. The hotel for 2024 has partnered with neighbouring luxury department store Harrods, to celebrate their 175th anniversary. For stays between 11th November to 22nd December 2024 join them for the ultimate seasonal shopping trip – including access to the coveted Lanesborough Club & Spa. They'll take care of all the little extras, with chauffeur-driven car transfers and butlers to collect your shopping whilst you stroll the sparkling streets of London’s revered shopping district.
Christmas in Residence
The Lanesborough offers a magical home away from home this festive season with the Christmas in Residence package; perfect for a decadent Regency escape in the capital. During three days in residence at the hotel, guests will enjoy a magical Christmas Eve with a festive tipple offered to you on arrival by your Butler, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in your room or suite, a chauffeur-driven car to Harrods to pick up any final presents, and onto St. Paul’s Church in Knightsbridge for a jolly evening service – with the benefit of having a dedicated Butler on hand to help with any last-minute present wrapping.
Christmas Day will dawn with a delightful breakfast, hand-delivered by the Butler and served in bed if preferred, or in The Lanesborough Grill, while little ones enjoy their personalised Lanesborough stocking. After the excitement of exchanging gifts, residents can join loved ones around the table at The Lanesborough Grill for a sumptuous five-course Christmas Day lunch, followed by a live broadcast of the King’s Speech and a visit from Santa Claus. Boxing Day begins with a quintessential English breakfast and the opportunity to take a chauffeur-driven car to Harrods to make the most of the Boxing Day sales and a late check out or some relaxation time in our award winning Lanesborough Club & Spa. Family room options available – dogs are welcome.
The Christmas in Residence package starts from £1,553 per room, per night, for two people and is valid 24 to 27 December 2024.
Festive Dining Experiences
The Lanesborough’s flagship modern British restaurant, The Lanesborough Grill will play host to a series of celebratory and immersive dining experiences from 20 November 2024 to 8 January 2025. The exclusive Festive Set Menu has been created by acclaimed Executive Chef, Shay Cooper to honor the very finest British produce. Menu items include for starters Terrine of duck and cornfed chicken, in a laminated truffle roll. Mains include Shay’s signature Norfolk turkey Wellington, carrot and swede, sprout leaves, cranberry and for dessert either Lanesborough Christmas pudding or Honeycomb and caramel yule log with honey ice cream.
The Festive Set Menu is priced at £56 per person for three-courses with a supplement of £45 per person for wine pairing, £90 per person for fine wine pairing.
Festive Private Dining Experiences

Our beautifully crafted menus by Executive Chef Shay Cooper, paired with fine wines, excellent service will ensure that all your guests enjoy a party and event to remember.
The Lanesborough's seven event spaces include The Wine Cellar at The Lanesborough, the perfect setting to linger over a cozy private lunch or dinner for up to 12 guests, or as an intimate venue for hosting tutored wine tastings, canapé and wine pairings and small receptions.

Bridgerton Festive Afternoon Tea
It doesn’t get much more festive or Instagrammable than The Lanesborough’s Bridgerton Festive Afternoon Tea. The limited-edition tea will pay homage to the Regency era during Christmas time; a time of great revelling and high style, of elegant parties, balls, and grand dinners, with a contemporary twist, available from 13th November 2024 to 8th January 2025.
Setting the scene, the Bridgerton Festive Afternoon Tea will take place in The Lanesborough’s richly decorated dining room, naturally illuminated during the day by a domed glass roof while seductively aglow under softly lit chandeliers in the evening. A Regency icon in the capital, beneath the original sky dome there is bas-relief artwork meticulously cast from 250 different mouldings, and Wedgwood China mounted on the walls, evoking a sense of Regency neo-classical grandeur. Carefully crafted by The Lanesborough’s Head Pastry Chef, Pierre Morvan-Benezet, the menu will pay tribute to the key families in Bridgerton Season 3 with a festive twist. Finger sandwiches will comprise of Roast Norfolk turkey, cranberry, chestnut and sage, truffled egg mayonnaise, organic cucumber, garlic and herb cream, juniper cured Scottish salmon, lemon mayonnaise.
The Lanesborough’s Bridgerton Festive Afternoon Tea is priced at £98 per person with The Friends to Lovers Cocktail or Blooming Wallflower; or £105 per person with a glass of Champagne. Children’s Festive afternoon tea menu £60 per child under 12. Available from 13th November 2024 to 8th January 2025.
Christmas Eve Dinner
A pre festive celebration four-course choice Christmas Eve dinner will be available in The Lanesborough Grill, to kick off the festive celebrations, with live entertainment.
Christmas Eve Dinner is priced at £210 per person with a supplement of £90 per person for wine pairing and £150 for fine wine pairing. Children’s menu priced at £85 per child.
A Very British Christmas Day Lunch
Those seeking a well-deserved break from their kitchens can treat themselves to an exceptional British Christmas Day Lunch in the richly decorated dining room of The Lanesborough Grill. Naturally illuminated during the day by a domed glass roof while seductively aglow under softly lit chandeliers in the evening – it is the perfect setting for an unforgettable Christmas Day with loved ones. The five-course choice menu will feature modern classics such as Scottish lobster and langoustine cocktail, sea herbs, avocado, champagne jelly, Hereford beef fillet “Rossini”, tawny port sauce, Cheese selection, Lanesborough Christmas pudding, confit orange, brandy sauce – served with a glass of Champagne to get in the celebratory spirit.
Christmas Day Lunch is priced at £420 per person with a supplement of £140 per person for wine pairing and £210 per person for fine wine pairing. Children’s menu priced at £210 per child.
Christmas Day Buffet Lunch
A lavish Christmas Day buffet will also be served in The St George’s Room with views to Wellington Arch, erected at the same time as the hotel building, in celebration of Britain’s victory in the Napoleonic Wars. High ceilings, chandeliers, period artworks, a cosy lit original Regency fireplace featuring beautiful wood marquetry make for majestic surroundings to enjoy Christmas Day lunch. A selection of dishes including Native lobster and potato omelette, crème fraîche, caviar, Lambton & Jackson Scottish smoked salmon, cornichons, capers, blini Cep parfait, madeira, fig jam, Chicken liver parfait, dressed beluga lentils, caramelised onion brioche, Colston Bassett Stilton tartlet, apple, port, celery, Potted salmon, Scottish langoustine, fresh herbs, lemon. Traditional Christmas turkey carved in the room, served with all the trimmings, Nut roast, served with traditional Christmas accompaniments, Salmon coulibiac, Pommery mustard sauce. To finish a
selection of British cheeses, nuts, dates, figs, mandarin, grapes, biscuits and crackers, traditional Christmas pudding, brandy sauce, vanilla cream, Sherry trifle and Mince pies.
Christmas Day Buffet Lunch is priced at £295 per person and £160 per child – served at 12.30pm in the St George’s Room or at 3.30pm.
Boxing Day Dinner
A choice four-course Boxing Day dinner will be available in The Lanesborough Grill, to continue the festive celebrations, with live entertainment.

New Year’s Eve in Residence Package
Guests can ring in the new year in serious style with The Lanesborough’s New Year’s Eve in Residence package. Checking in on 31 December, residents will be greeted by a welcome Lanesborough tipple on arrival. A chilled bottle of Champagne awaits with New Year amenities to toast to good health and prosperity when the clock strikes midnight. To usher in 2025, the package includes a spectacular six-course dinner with live festive entertainment in The Lanesborough Grill. The following day, guests in residence can kickstart the New Year by indulging in a traditional English breakfast served in the comfort of their room by their very own personal butler or in The Lanesborough Grill. A late check-out of 6pm allows plenty of time for R&R before departure, in the luxurious surrounds of The Lanesborough Club & Spa.

New Year’s Eve Dinner and New Year’s Day Lunch
Those who aren’t staying overnight, but don’t want to miss out on the fun, can welcome the New Year at The Lanesborough Grill over a glamorous six-course New Year’s Eve Dinner, with live music, prepared by Executive Chef, Shay Cooper. Featuring world-class Champagne and dishes such as Dorset Crab, truffle pancake, chestnut and Jerusalem artichoke, Roast Orkney scallop, spring onion, green mango, light curry emulsion, Duck and madeira consommé, quail parcels, tarragon and ceps, English wagyu striploin, charred cabbage, walnut, mustard and capers, Cashel blue, parsnip and date cake, caramelised pear, and to finish a Dark chocolate soufflé, hazelnut praline, vanilla ice cream.
There will also be a celebratory three-course choice New Year’s Day Lunch at The Lanesborough Grill with live entertainment.
New Year’s Eve Dinner is priced at £400 per person for six courses with a supplement of £195 per person for wine pairing and £270 per person for fine wine pairing. New Year’s Eve – The Library Bar at The Lanesborough
Alternatively, one can raise a glass to 2025 in the privacy of The Library Bar – a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of city life, with dimmed lighting, grand surrounds, and the UK’s best Cognac and single malt Whisky selection with bottles dating back to 1770. The Library Bar exudes old-world charm and provides a truly unique experience, serving London’s finest champagne tipples and twists on timeless classics.
