From entire restaurant buyouts to cosy pub private dining rooms and stunning hotel spaces, we have the perfect private hire venues to suit every Christmas event. Whether it’s an office bash, intimate family gathering or friendly festive get together, look no further than the twinkly lights of Belgravia when it comes to hosting jolly, glamorous and elegant Christmas soirées. The festive fun starts with the big Christmas Lights switch-on across the neighbourhood on November 17, and continues until the champagne corks stop popping on New Year’s Eve.

The Orange

Food

Keep the vibes casual at the newly revamped Orange pub on Pimlico Road. The basement Blood Orange bar can seat 30 for wood-fired pizzas and Palomas. Meanwhile charming ground, first and second floor rooms mean plenty of characterful dining options; from 14 seated guests in the Feasting Room to a semi-private restaurant space that can hold 45 people. Plus there is always room at the inn thanks to the four bedrooms that can be found at the very top of the Grade II-listed former coffee house and brewery.

The Lanesborough

Regency revelry is the theme for this year’s decorations at The Lanesborough. The grand five-star hotel will be dressed abundantly with scented pines and foliage art crafted by florist Wildabout Flowers. The hotel’s seven event spaces mean private dining options are aplenty, from the Wine Cellar accommodating 12 people for a delicious three-course feast, to a sleek cocktail and canapé reception in the stately Belgravia room for 120 of your nearest and dearest. We hope resident Lanesborough cat Lilibet is in the meow’d for dancing.

The Hari

The Hari is going for gold this year, with sparkly Christmas baubles spanning all the metallic shades from bronze to yellow, alongside a nature-inspired Winter Forest window made from pine cones and cinnamon sticks. Options for hosting at the hotel include exclusive hire of the bar and garden terrace for up to 120 guests, or for more intimate gatherings the private dining room can accommodate 22 people. When it comes to the smaller details, personalised menus, place cards and Christmas crackers make a lunch or dinner at this boutique hotel extra jolly.

Mosimann's

Beloved members’ club Mosimann’s will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland on November 6, with elaborate decorations inspired by scenes from a C.S. Lewis novel stretching from the entrance all the way to the balcony bar. Exclusive hire of the whole restaurant is on the table, so to speak, with some dates still left for this yuletide. With seven private dining rooms to choose from, there really is something for every size group. If you’re lucky enough to score an invitation here, don’t forget to pick up one of Mosimann’s highly coveted Christmas puddings to take home for the big day itself.

Pétrus

Our passionate and experienced team is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to surpass your expectations” is the fighting chat from celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. And there’s no doubt that an event at Michelin-starred Pétrus would be a serious showstopper indeed. Whether it’s a cosy group of eight downstairs at the prestigious kitchen table, or exclusive venue hire for a party of 60, don’t forget your glad rags as the dress code is strictly smart.

Blink Brow Bar

Not every Christmas occasion has to involve copious mountains of food and lashings of drink, even in party season. Consider a beauty and wellness-inspired event instead, with Blink Brow Bar’s flexible private hire options. Whether it’s mani-pedis (did you know, this branch offers nail services?) or a brow and lash party, Blink Brow Bar can tailor services to the host’s desires and can even dress the salon space with personalised decorations.

Daylesford

The upstairs space at Daylesford Organic’s Pimlico Road farm shop and café can be rented out for private parties from 6.30pm onwards and can comfortably seat up to 30 people. The team can create everything on a completely bespoke basis, including floral arrangements crafted by an in-house florist using flowers and foliage foraged from Daylesford’s Gloucestershire estate. Whilst there, don’t miss the opportunity to squeeze in some Christmas shopping, with Daylesford’s stunning festive range including everything from hampers, advent calendars and figgy pudding to gorgeous table linen and whimsical ceramics.

Muse by Tom Aikens

For a less is more approach when it comes to sparkly Christmas razzle dazzle, Michelin-starred Muse by chef Tom Aikens is the place to wine and dine friends or colleagues. There won’t be strings of tinsel but there will be a nod to the season with traditionally festive floral arrangements. Likewise the menu is a seasonal tasting menu, and whilst it won’t be a trad turkey with all the trimmings, there’s bound to be a few festive hints in the mix. The mews house can accommodate groups of anywhere from six to 26 guests, from semi-private dining on the ground floor to larger group private dining on the first floor - and even an entire townhouse takeover for an extra special experience.
